Using Lou & Marks presets to add magic to your images

If you know anything about me it is that I love photography. When I am not homeschooling and running a busy household I am a professional photographer. Photography is my creative outlet. I love capturing moments with my family and sharing my passion with others professionally. The ability to make moments last forever means so much to me and I know it means the world to many other parents.

Today I want to share with you some of my favourite behind the scenes ways that I edit my images to give them a consistent look not only on Instagram but also on print in family albums and on wall art. I know most people capture images on their phone and rarely on cameras anymore and the good news is that you can still use the tips I am going to give you here with mobile phone images and obtain beautiful results. I myself have used my iPhone many times with this technique and the images taken are on my walls.

I am sure you have heard of Photoshop and maybe you have heard of Lightroom too. Lightroom is a professional programme photographers use to process digital images just like we used darkrooms to process films. There is a mobile app version of the Lightroom programme, it provides the same great results as the desktop programme but in a less overwhelming manner especially for beginners. You can import your images on the app and from there edit them. I personally love using something called presets to edit images, they are similar to filters we used on film in a dark room, presets are recipes that bring consistency in your images finish. It is a way to give your social feed and your albums a signature look. I love using different presets for different times of the year so it feels seasonal like what we experience with nature and light in our life and helps the storytelling, if you visit my personal Instagram feed, the images posted in the last couple of years were all edited with the presets I am about to share.

My favourite presets are the Lou and Marks presets. They have an extensive collection to help you achieve a finished image with the look you envision. Their presets are easy to install on Adobe Lightroom, both desktop or mobile. I am adding here a link to an easy how to video if you are new to adding presets to Lightroom. Lou and Marks provide the best customer experience so if you are a beginner or need help tweaking the settings on your image in Lightroom they will advise you accordingly, it is such a reassurance to know they care about helping you in getting the most out of their carefully crafted presets.

So if you are wanting to take your photography a step up with an at home professional finish I would recommend investing in the Lou & Mark presets. They do not wash out or saturate your photographs, they have a guaranteed true skin tone and the final results prints beautifully. I print my images edited on wall art but also photo prints and even on the go with my little Fujifilm mini INSTAX printer and the results are always gorgeous. If you are tempted to try them, be assured there is a style for everyone in their collection. I am a huge fan of their Magical Bundle, it is a bundle of perfect presets for your Disney holiday but I use it at home as I find it brings a touch of pixie dust to my images which is perfect to capture the magic of childhood.

I encourage you to use the Lou & Marks presets on your next images, it is an investment like no others in your memories and will transform your grid if you like to post on social media, please let me know in the comments which one will be your first purchase and tag me on Instagram when you use them for the first time, I cannot wait to see your results.

Thank you for reading, I hope you have a magical day,

Lots of love,

Nahomie
