Disneyland Hotel Spa “Mother to Be” massage review

When I found out last summer Disneyland Paris had opened a spa with Clarins my attention was caught and I made a mental note to book a treatment at our next visit. Fast forward to January when my husband took our family for a last minute Babymoon in Disney before we welcome our second set of twins in Spring. Knowing I would be in dire need of relaxation and pampering by that point in the pregnancy he reserved a Mother to Be massage at the Disneyland Hotel Spa for our second day there and it was a wonderful experience.

The Spa was a little difficult to find especially since it was my first time navigating the famous Pink hotel and it felt a little like a maze, if you are going there for the first time I would definitely head early, especially if you are going for the Mother to Be massage and are waddling like I was! After a little scare in some stairs that looked like I had taken a wrong turn and encountering another couple of lovely lost ladies also looking for the Spa I made it just in time for my appointment.

The lovely Lucie was my therapist. On arrival I was asked to fill a form to ensure I had the best experience and which areas I wanted special attention to, in my case I chose my legs as they are one of the area of my body the hardest hit in pregnancy. She brought me to my room and I was swooped away by how beautiful it was, stepping there in itself felt like walking into an oasis of relaxation. The bed was very comfortable and the massage itself was the most relaxing and revitalising I had felt after a maternity treatment before. Were I to live by the Hotel I would probably be having this massage more than once a month until the babies arrive, it was just that good!

At the end of the treatment I was given time to relax with a choice of fine chocolate and beverage. Lucie prepared a list of personalised recommendations for my skin and body which included the products she had used in the Mother to Be massage. I did follow her recommendations once I was home and my skin has benefited from the Partner stretch mark expert cream for my stretched baby bump and my legs have felt a huge relief with the use of the Body Contour oil. I have suffered of oedema in my ankles and feet my last two pregnancies and it was already forming again this pregnancy but the use of this specific oil massaged upward after a shower has kept swelling at bay this time around and I am immensely grateful for this.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Disneyland Hotel Spa and I would recommend anyone visiting Disneyland Paris or Paris to make a stop there and rest for a moment of pure bliss. I will be treating myself to another treatment at our next visit and I am so happy I had the chance to try their Mother to Be massage for our twin baby moon, it was beneficial beyond the treatment itself as I am now using the products daily and feeling refreshed at home too. Have you had the chance to visit this magical spa? Let me know your favourite treatment in the comments!

I wish you a magical day, N.
